COVID-19 kills Ghana's top surgeon

The deadly novel coronavirus now a pandemic has reportedly killed one of Ghana’s top surgeons with the Trust Hospital

A statement by the Hospital reveals Dr. Richard Kisser, died of COVID-19 on Thursday, June 2, 2020.

His death adds to the growing list of frontline workers to fall to the virus.

“We regret to inform all staff of the passing of our consultant surgeon, Dr Richard Kisser.

The sad event occurred on Thursday 2nd of July 2020 at the University of Ghana Medical Centre where he was receiving treatment for COV1D-19 complications.

May his soul rest in perfect peace,” the Trust Hospital said.
