Hurray, Nana Addo shows Mr. Daniel Yao Domelevo, the Auditor General, the exit, and makes corruption fighting a mirage for Ghana. Now the public purse must leak endlessly.
If you are excited the Auditor General has been axed out of his public office, you are one of the problems of this nation.
Will Nana Addo Bring Mr. Daniel Yao Domelevo, the Auditor General Back?
The President must recall the AG because his action goes against the labour law.
Apuuu! that is the last thing the President will do.
Can you imagine the disgrace, mockery, and the political points the opposition NDC will score if the President wrote back to the Auditor-General and asked him to resume his job and position? I am sure you have heard that you don’t spit onto the floor and lick it again.
Is government scared of the Auditor general auditing COVID-19 funds and expenditures ahead of the 2020 elections?
Since the Auditor General has refused to dance to a certain rhythm, the drums an drum sticks in his possession have been taken away illegally. He chose servitude & moral turpitude.
The door of no return has been opened for Domelevo by the President and Domelevo has a less than 1% chance of being reinstated.
He has been superb and a torn in the flesh of government.
Like a super watchman, he has been one person who has constantly applied the breaks, checks, and balances on the government in every regard to fighting corruption. The government might have had enough of him.
However, after his sacking, the Auditor General has begun to fight back saying the President acted in bad faith. If you don’t agree with him, you are the problem with Ghana.
But the good news for all those whom the Auditor General has professionally chased for wrongdoing would be jubilating because the top security man at the entrance who has been keeping an eagle’s eye on them is gone. Let the looting continue.
The government has been put on its toes by the Auditor-General and his work and reports have constantly embarrassed the government.
His forced exit is another negative point scored by the Akuffo Addo led government and our commitment to fight against corruption.
Are we hiding something or about to happen and the easiest way to do that without the public knowing is to push out Auditor General Daniel Yao Domelevo.
Ghanaians are of the view that the Auditor General is very courageous as usual and he is right. His excellency has clearly erred on this matter. Mr. Domelovo is making the President and the NPP uncomfortable and unpopular.
He is not weak and is also not a liability to the state like the Special Prosecutor. Good people don’t last indeed.
The President promised Ghanaians ahead of the 2016 elections to protect the public purse. He has been considered a great lawyer and corruption fighter but I bet to differ now. Something must be wrong with Ghana now.
